10. United Bamboo

United Bamboo is also known as Zhu Lien Bang. It is the largest among three main Triads of Taiwan. United Bamboo gained global notoriety when it became directly involved in politics in the early 1980s. They deal in human, drug, and gun trafficking. They are involved in human trafficking, drug trafficking, illegal gambling, counterfeiting, weapons trafficking, kidnapping, prostitution, money laundering, vehicle trafficking, loan sharking, extortion, murder, and robbery.

7. Barrio Azteca

The Barrio Aztecas is a Mexican-American gang, originated in prisons in El Paso, Texas in 1986. Soon after it became a transnational criminal organization and rivals to the Sinaloa Cartel. In the start, they were considered a street gang, but have transitioned into a paramilitary structured cartel. Currently, they are one of the most violent and extremely dangerous gangs in the United States. They are said to have over 3,000 members in the U.S. in locations such as New Mexico, Texas, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and at least 5,000 members in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Barrio Azteca are pretty damn ruthless. They are responsible for killing 16 teenagers at a party, and a pregnant U.S. Consulate worker in broad dayligh.

The Sinaloa Cartel is one of the most active, prolific drug cartels and extremely dangerous gangs on the planet. They are most powerful and organized crime syndicate based in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa. The organization led by the notorious Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. Forbes included him on its list of most powerful people in the world. He is the billionaire widely considered to be the richest and most powerful drug trafficker in the entire world. DEA has declared him “Godfather of the Drug World”. El Chapo is currently arrested.

Sinaloa Cartel is responsible for importing and distributing nearly 200 tons of cocaine and large amounts of heroin into the United States. The gang also involved in extortion, kidnappings for ransom, human trafficking, smuggling, prostitution, and murder.

Bloods and Crips; although they are completely separate gangs, I just grouped them together here as 5th most violent and dangerous, because of their rivalry. It is their actions against each other that have made them amongst extremely dangerous gangs. Both they are street gangs, through Civil war, originated in California. With more than 30,000 members of the Crips and 15,000 of the Bloods, they aren’t chopping dozens of people’s heads off or drinking their victim’s blood, but the large amount of criminal activity make them a significant threat in the USA. They are heavy in the military, and associated with violent murders, threats, robberies and drug trafficking.

Mungiki is a mysterious gang of Kenya that also operates like a cult. They’ve been known to do unusual things. Having more than 100,000 members, Mungiki is known as one of the brutal and extremely dangerous gangs in the world. They are among the wealthiest gangsters in world, bringing in billions dollars yearly from drugs, guns, extortion, gambling, the sex industry, assassinations, real estate and construction kickback schemes.
